Interior and Environment Design MA

Interior architect environmental designers form our everyday environment, interior and exterior spaces with their creative mind. They assume the cultural mission of creating man, set up, mediate and preserve values.

We aim to teach Interior Designers who will be able to work as Independent Designers or Assistant Architect Designers as members of the faculty of Interior Designers in the prestigious Hungarian Chamber of Architects. In the process of designing tasks we will enable you to form the environment, design objects, or even create artistic works and with this knowledge you might as well have the opportunity to influence the international profession. Not only can you acquire the ability and importance to form interiors, but you can also study the work process of interior and exterior furniture-making, here. We will continuously stimulate you to experience with shapes and materials, to make models so that you can find your own designer identity.

“In our master courses, beside interior design and furniture design we put an equal emphasis on architectural design tasks. We help you develop your artistic approach needed for environment design as well as its application in creative work with the help of our professionals.”
Zoltán Kovács DLA, Associate Professor, Ferenczy Noémi Award-winning Architect, Interior Designer, Leading Designer

“Interior design is a kind of borderline area; it connects, takes in and at the same time diversifies specialities. During my education, I realised that it is not only a trade. It is a profession determining my life every day.  Learning this complex profession takes a lifetime. For which the years spent in school give the most determining basis. The improvement of creative approach started at the BA courses is widened with the development of critical thinking and the acquiring of problem identifying and problem solving skills. My education also highlighted my strengths and weaknesses, the importance of teamwork, which is vital for creating an environment during your career, which works well both aesthetically and functionally."
Brigitta Kovács, Post- Graduate Student
